Arthroscopic bone block procedure using advanced instability system.

Glenoid bone reconstruction in anterior shoulder instability done by total arthroscopic bone block technique is an unique procedure performed for patients with recurrent anterior dislocation of shoulder. The glenoid bone loss is accurately calculated based on 3D reconstructed CT images and intra-op measurements. The amount of lost bone is replaced by patients natural autograft from other donor areas and after shaping and sizing it as per the glenoid defect. This is a first of its kind procedure successfully accomplished using advanced instability system which enables the procedure to be performed entirely arthroscopically, eliminating the need for large surgical incision. Limited blood loss, less postoperative pain, early rehabilitation and speedy recovery are the advantages of the procedure.
