Emergency medicine is practiced as the initial point of care for the patient entering the hospital system. Emergency medicine focuses on the acute stabilization of the patient. This is the first line of care that a patient receives following an event or accident, which leads the person to seek care in the hospital. The patient is then stabilized in the emergency room (ER) and post that is shifted to the Critical care unit which we also provide at AJ Hospital.
