Dr. Vishwanath is a highly skilled and accomplished Surgical Oncologist with extensive expertise in managing complex cancer cases. With over 10+ years of independent surgical oncology experience and more than 2,500 successful cancer surgeries, he is one of the region’s leading specialists in advanced oncological procedures.
A graduate of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), he completed his MBBS, MS in General Surgery, and later pursued MCh in Surgical Oncology from the prestigious Banaras Hindu University, one of India’s top institutions for oncology training.
Dedicated to providing evidence-based, ethical, and compassionate cancer care, Dr. Vishwanath is an integral part of the multidisciplinary cancer team at A.J. Hospital.

Performed the first successful HIPEC for Pseudomyxoma Peritonei in South Canara (2018).
